Last updated: August 31, 2026 Morsetta respects your privacy. We do not operate public user accounts in v1. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and how we use it. Information we may collect • Contact form: name, email address, and message content when you write to us. Messages are emailed to our team; we do not store them in a public database. • Recipe reviews (when enabled): display name, optional title and comment, rating, and a hashed IP address for spam control. Email addresses are moderated internally and are not shown on the site. • Analytics (when enabled): aggregated usage data via Google Analytics 4 — page views, approximate geography, device type, and on-site events such as search queries and cook-mode interactions. We do not send personally identifiable information in analytics events. • Server logs: standard web server and application logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and troubleshooting. How we use information • Respond to contact messages and review moderation. • Measure site performance and improve recipes and UX when analytics is enabled. • Protect the site from abuse (rate limits, spam controls). Analytics and advertising cookies are off until we enable those features and update this policy. Sharing We do not sell personal data. We use service providers only as needed (hosting, email delivery, analytics when enabled, ad networks when enabled). Retention Contact messages live in our mail system according to our email retention practice. Approved review text remains published until removed editorially. Analytics data retention follows Google Analytics settings. Your choices • You may request deletion of personal data you submitted (contact messages or pending reviews) by emailing us via the contact page with enough detail for us to find the record. • You can control cookies through your browser and, where required, through consent tools we enable before analytics or ads go live in your region. International users If you access Morsetta from India, we handle personal data in line with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act where it applies. If you access from the EU/UK, we enable analytics and advertising only after appropriate consent where required (see Cookies). Children Morsetta is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Changes We may update this policy when features change (for example, enabling ads or analytics). The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
