Easy tuna melt is what I make when the fridge looks empty but there is always a can of tuna. I drain it well or the bread goes soggy. Mayo, a little mustard, celery for crunch, then cheese under the broiler until it bubbles. I use the toaster oven half the time so I do not heat the whole kitchen. Soft bread works; sourdough holds up better. Eat it while the cheese is still stretchy. Cold leftovers are fine the next day if you are not picky.
