Homemade Tortilla Chips
By Jordan Lee ·
Homemade tortilla chips beat the bag when I want something warm and salty with salsa. Corn tortillas cut into wedges, a light brush of oil, not a swim. Salt while they are hot so it sticks. I bake them most nights because cleanup is easier; frying is faster and crunchier if you are feeding a crowd. Watch the last two minutes; they go from pale to too dark quick. Cool on a rack or they steam soft on a plate. Guacamole disappears next to these.
