Soft Pretzel Bites
By Jordan Lee ·
Soft pretzel bites take a little patience with the dough, but the reward is that mall-stand chew without leaving the house. The dough should feel soft and slightly tacky; if it's stiff, add a splash more water. The baking soda bath is what gives them that pretzel skin, so don't skip it. I boil them in batches so they don't stick. Salt them while wet so it clings. Serve warm with mustard.
